Kino's must-see collection of gems starring Barbara Stanwyck (Double Indemnity)

One of cinema's most beloved actresses, Barbara Stanwyck made an illustrious career for herself as a go-to performer for some of Hollywood's most versatile and accomplished filmmakers (including the likes of directors Frank Capra and Cecil B. DeMille). Having worked in film, television, and dance, Stanwyck brought her unique charm and grace to each and every role. An accomplished actor who wasn't afraid of taking bold artistic risks, Stanwyck helped to pave the way for many modern-day actresses with her style and sophistication. She even received an honorary Oscar during the 1982 Academy Awards ceremony.

One of the actresses most famous screen roles was that of leading lady Phyllis in Billy Wilder's film-noir masterpiece Double Indemnity. A beautiful, talented, and astute performer, Barbara Stanwyck continues to be an iconic actress who deserves celebration for her cinematic achievements.
