Arrival 4K Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras

Paramount's matte SteelBook feels nicely textured in the hand. There will be no slipping or fingerprinting with this one. The front panel depicts Amy
Adams' Louise
Banks, center, her hand on an alien panel. She's looking at one of the examples of the species' writing, which is comprised of large, inky, black circles.
The
circle fills much of the SteelBook's front perimeter and is reflective in proper lighting The film's title appears top center in darker, slightly faded letters.
Actor names Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Forest Whitaker appear above the title, left to right, also in black letters. The rear panel depicts the
elongated, oblong, and extraordinarily large alien craft hovering over the earth. Tranquil terrain and a peaceful sky appear behind it. The colors are
limited to almost a grayscale with some blending pastel sky colors gently appearing in the lighter areas. A small and unobtrusive Paramount logo
appears bottom
right. The spine maintains the gray-black color scheme, lighter at the top and transitioning to black towards the bottom. The film's title in a lighter color
appears center. A Paramount logo has been placed at the top. UltraHD and Blu-ray logos, as well as "2-disc set" text, appear at the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that maintains the minimalist and black-gray color scheme. Here, a few smaller
examples of the alien script appear on the left. On the right under the discs is a larger and more complex example filling most of the panel, with a
single
smaller one top left.

Arrival 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

This is a classy SteelBook which is perfectly complimentary to the film's story and aesthetic styling. The on-disc content is great and the film is one of
the best of its decade. Very highly recommended.
