Disney and Best Buy have collaborated on an exclusive SteelBook release for the hit Marvel film 'Ant-Man and the Wasp.' The two-disc set offers identical content compared to the standard packaging wide release; the only difference is the unique artwork, inside and out, adorning this SteelBook. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section below for more.

The SteelBook artwork appearing on Ant-Man and the Wasp is certainly more visually interesting than the standard issue back-to-back
character pose image, but it's also not particularly a standout compared to some of the more attractive, refined SteelBooks out there, either. The front
cover features Wasp as she grows in size from a tiny origin point in the bottom-left quadrant, growing larger in a series of progressively bigger images
that
extend down and to the right and then back upwards towards the top-left. The character(s) appears in front of a white background with a
honeycomb-like pattern. The rear side offers a similar image featuring Ant-Man growing larger in a more straightforward vertical pattern from smallest
(bottom) to largest (top). The same background appears on the rear, which also includes a Marvel Studios logo, a copyright notice, and a model
number in small print at the bottom. The spine does away with the white honeycomb in favor of a contrasting black surface with that same pattern.
The
film's title appears colorfully in the center. An UltraHD logo appears at the bottom and a Marvel Studios logo at the top.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are housed on the right,
staggered-stacked. The interior two-panel presentation spread prominently features the title characters, Ant-Man and Wasp, racing towards action
through a blurry background battlefield, Ant-Man on the left and Wasp on the right.

The Ant-Man movies just feel a little dwarfed (pun intended) by the bigger, yea colossal, Marvel movies on the market, but they're fun little universe diversions that offer a nice, lighter reprieve from some of the more weighty dramatic material that's been building, and has exploded, in recent films. The Ant-Man and the Wasp SteelBook is nothing special but still visually superior to, and more collectible than, the standard packaging. Recommended.
