Annabelle Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras

Dark and foreboding define this SteelBook, which is made of a flat, matte surface rather than a glossy coating. It will still attract some fingerprints but
does not present them with egregious obviousness. The front cover features the title character facing forward, situated on the viewer's right (the
SteelBook's left) with the right half of its face prominent
along the side. The image is artistically cut off at the left side of the nose. A demonic grin appears on the face and blood drops from the right eye. This
is the exact same image that appears on the disc's menu screen. To
the left there is a break in the darkness where a woman carrying a flashlight shines its beam on a creepy, old fashioned stroller. The film's title appears
in
large white letters center bottom. The text "Before 'The Conjuring' there was" appear above in a beige color. The rear panel is almost entirely black save
for a single small rose appearing in dark red color, center. A few white splotches dot the blackness. The spine maintains the flat black dominance. The
film's title appears center in dark red lettering. A Warner Brothers logo has been placed at the bottom.
Inside, there is no digital code or second DVD disc. The lone Blu-ray disc is situated on a single hub on the right hand side. The inner print depicts a two
panel spread that shows the doll Annabelle laying on its side. The head is on the left and the torso is on the right. A billing block appears bottom left.

Annabelle Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

Annabelle's SteelBook is a simple and streamlined alternative to the wide release. There's no fuss to the packaging or what's inside and the
disc is identical to the 2015 issue. Collectors should find it to be a fair addition to any SteelBook and genre library.
