Mercury Studios has really gone to town helping Andrea Bocelli celebrate his 30th year in show business. Andrea Bocelli: The Celebration 30th Anniversary 4K offers two 4K discs in standard packaging, while Andrea Bocelli: The Celebration 30th Anniversary offers two 1080 discs in DigiBook packaging. This deluxe edition offers the same two 1080 discs as the DigiBook along with two DVDs, this time in a really extravagantly produced large hardback book. I'll link to my reviews of actual disc contents below from my original 1080 and 4K reviews, and will discuss aspects of the packaging below, but this review offers several hi res photos of this edition. Screenshots of the concert are available in the two other reviews linked to below.

On disc supplements are detailed in the above linked reviews. This edition is beautifully packaged in a hardback book measuring 11 1/4" square by around 1/2" deep. The two 1080 Blu-ray discs and two DVDs are in cushioned pockets inside the back cover (though my copy had one missing "plug" to attach the disc to), as seen in the third hi res photo of the packaging I've uploaded to accompany this review. Other than a bit of credits text, the book features a glut of glossy photos that easily outdoes the much smaller array offered in the DigiBook insert.

While it's commendable how Mercury is offering so many different choices with this release, it might have been nice to have had this deluxe edition actually offer all three resolution formats. That said, my personal advice is for those interested in this release who only want the 1080 version to opt for this edition despite its heftier price tag, especially if they want to see some really sweet and fun pictures of the performers. Recommended.
