Shortly after Shadow Moon ( Ricky Whittle ) is released from prison, he meets the mysterious Mr. Wednesday ( Ian McShane ). A fateful encounter that changes all his life. Followed by his wife's tragic death Laura (Emily Browning), Shadow takes a job as a Wednesdays Bodyguard. He quickly finds himself in a hidden, magical world that he does not understand ... A world in which the ancient gods suffer from their increasing insignificance, because new gods like technology and media are gaining in influence. Mr. Wednesday therefore tries to unite the old gods in the struggle to restore the old glory. Shadow Moon, on the other hand, is hard on the Roadtrip across America, With Ricky Whittle, Ian McShane, Emily Browning, Gillian Anderson, Peter Stormare and many others!
