Set several centuries in the future, the abandoned Alita is found in the scrapyard of Iron City by Ido, a compassionate cyber-doctor who takes the unconscious cyborg Alita to his clinic. When Alita awakens, she has no memory of who she is, nor does she have any recognition of the world she finds herself in. As Alita learns to navigate her new life and the treacherous streets of Iron City, Ido tries to shield her from her mysterious past.

20th Century Fox and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive SteelBook release for Alita: Battle Angel. The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

The SteelBook is made of a matte black finish. it's not slick or glossy and feels good in the hand. It won't slip or slide or show any fingerprints from
regular handling. The front image depicts Alita's left hand, palm up. There are reflective accents on the exposed parts of the hand at the joints and in
the palm proper. It's not gaudy at all and looks quite nice. There's nothing embossed or debossed about it, though. The film's title appears top left in
white script with yellow subtext. The rear side is a flat black with no image or text of any kind save for faint logos and legalese at the bottom. The
spine carries over the flat black look. The film's title appears center in the same script and color featured on the front. 20th Century Fox and Lightstorm
Entertainment logos appear at the top.
Inside, the digital copy code floats; there are no tabs. Three discs -- UHD, Blu-ray, and Blu-ray 3-D -- are included. The left-hand side panel features a
center hub to hold one disc while discs two and three are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features Alita and Hugo looking up at Zalem from Iron City; the characters
appear bottom left and Zalem top right.

Best Buy's 4K/3-D/2-D SteelBook release of Alita: Battle Angel is a well-rounded package that offers the film in every available high definition medium, including digital. The SteelBook is a bargain for its content and its look and feel; it's one of the nicer ones released this year. Recommended.
