Afro Samurai and Afro Samurai: Resurrection are both wonderful and showcase first-rate animation across the board for devoted fans of Japanese animation. The series has a sense of cool that is quite sophisticated and fun. Broadcast on Cartoon Network in North America, Afro Samurai became a cult favorite with an adoring fanbase. The Afro Samurai series and sequel both feature the voice of Samuel L. Jackson.

The limited edition includes deluxe steelbook packaging. The steelbook artwork is stunning and both the front and back cover art manage to make an impression. The steelbook art looks fantastic in hand and is something special to behold. The steelbook has a high gloss quality and the texture of the print is well done. A fantastic collectable and must-own for fans of the series.

The filmmaking is stunning and the series and its follow-up offer exhilarating creativity and exciting action sequences in spades. The Blu-ray release provides a worthwhile presentation, too. The limited-edition comes in deluxe steelbook packaging. Steelbook fans will be especially pleased with this must-own set. Highly recommended.
