Paramount and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive UHD SteelBook release for Director Michael Bay's 2016 film '13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the 4K wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Paramount's SteelBook is of the glossy-smooth variety. It's also rather darkly colored so some handling fingerprints will certainly be visible all around
the front and rear panels. The front panel depicts a lone solider, weapon at the ready and night vision goggles on his face, looking from the compound
roof out towards the city beyond. A couple of palm trees flank the left and right side horizon. Dark clouds give way to a lighter color front-center. The
film's title appears at the top, the words "13 Hours" larger than the subtitle. Michael Bay's name accompanies above in smaller print. The rear panel is
black with some very dark blue metallic paint. Centered in white, blocky, computer-like text is the following: "In 2012, the threat level in Benghazi,
Libya was 'critical.' When everything went wrong, six men had the courage to do what was right." The spine features the film's title as it appears on the
front, though the subtitle is barely visible. A Paramount logo has been placed at the top and an UltraHD logo at the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features six distinct images that show each main character in action, three per
side, divided horizontally, each in what approximates a "widescreen" aspect ratio. Note that this SteelBook appears to be identical to the Blu-ray SteelBook released in 2016. There is also a 2018 Blu-ray SteelBook with different artwork.

Paramount did not see fit to redesign the SteelBook from 2016, and that's a good call. This one is classy. It looks great and the focus is right where it needs to be. The rear panel could have ben more inspiring than a simple quote, though. Highly recommended.
