What you may not initially realize from just glancing at the box cover is that this blu ray actually contains the entire Grinch animated trilogy: "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat," AND "Halloween is Grinch Night." The latter two of this category are much less well-known; and, in my opinion, extremely underrated! Grinch vs Cat in the Hat makes "Batman v Superman" look like Sesame Street. The Grinch is just absolutely ruthless in this showdown with the Cat, and you will have to see it to believe it. Meanwhile, the Halloween Grinch special is a masterclass in psychological horror, and will no doubt leave you quaking with fear and trepidation! I was already a fan of the entire Grinch Trilogy (the "Grinchverse"), and when I saw that this blu ray included all three shorts in glorious HD I simply had to own it. This may be the first time these other two Grinch specials have even been released in HD, although I'm not sure. It's just a shame that many will not realize they are even featured on this disc as it is advertised only as the Christmas special, but any who buy it unawares are sure to be in for a wonderful surprise! What a treat.

Ich gucke sie persönlich lieber auf englisch weil es einfach schöner bzw auch origeneller klingt. Finde die deutsche Grinchstimmer nicht so toll. Aber es wurde versucht möglichst genau zu übersetzen und das muss man auch anerkennen. Einfach ein muss im DVD-Regal .schade dass in deutschland die Bücher nicht so verbreitet sind.

    Endlich habe ich den Film "Das sprechende Sandkorn" auf dieser DVD gefunden. Dieser lief zuletzt in den 80ern im Fernsehen, woran ich mich noch erinnern kann.
