    This movie is amazing. It's fun, absurd, and completely subverts the friendly children find innocent alien and they all bond with the power of love genre. Mimi being evil and the parents being morons is the joke here. Sorry Michael but you completely missed the point of everything.
    As a big Calvin and Hobbes fan this movie reminded me a lot of the comic strip. Mimis evil innocence and PG's cosmic wisdom of horror and blood are a perfect duo, and I love how they don't care about any of it while everyone around them deals with the terror of the situation.
    I do wish they had gone all out a little more at the end, and it could use a bit more blood and gore, but it's entertaining if you're not a knob like Michael.

It's hilarious in parts, absurd in parts, very entertaining throughout and very original! I thought many of the characters were great. Especially Mimi! Really excellent performance by Nita-Josee Hanna. People who took this too seriously need to realize it's supposed to be funny, not real. And it is. All movies don't need to convey a "moral" message. And most don't. That's ok.
