    This is one of those vintage films that may not hold up as well as some of the other classics. There’s some racist humor and I never really appreciated W.C. Fields in general. But, if you love Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy, it’s worth it. My only complaint, and hence the 4/5 stars, is the video is interlaced and therefore you can see lines, or combing, on non-CRT displays, which is pretty much any modern monitor or TV. It would be nice to see this film presented on Blu-ray.
