Hard to find movie of my childhood. One of the best actors ever. French humor and old good 70s, when life was more or less normal. 👍🏻😋👍🏻

Really fun to watch, so imaginative.

I am a biased Jean Paul Belmondo fan, but my thoughts about this film are really an objective opinion of it. It is a very entertaining film, featuring an impish performance from Belmondo, and well complimented by the always elegant Jacqueline Bisset. It's a carefree, captivating subtitled film.

I love Philippe De Broca's movies, but this fantasy mixed in with reality gets a little tiresome after a while. Belmondo is a writer of books , a la James Bond, and his stories are played out on the screen, but his real life as an author gets mixed in with his stories. This Blu-Ray is a gorgeous print, but it is dubbed in English, which I don't like. Some of the players speak English, but I know Belmondo's voice and he is dubbed. Quite a lot of the movie is great fun, especially in the beginning, but sooner or later, you have enough.

ı always like the movies he made .

Subtitles seem AI generated. Starts out ok at the beginning, but by the middle of the movie there is no punctuation, sentences often make zero sense, pronouns are often incorrect so it's hard to know who is being referred to, and there's a strange thing where the last word of a subtitle is actually the first word of the next sentence even when it isn't spoken until 10 or 20 seconds later so the whole thing just stays on screen even though no dialogue is spoken? It is really distracting and makes the movie hard to follow.

Extraordinary! non stop laughing if you enjoy french humor. Both Jean Paul Belmondo and Jaqueline Biset are wonderful. This movie inspired the 70's parodies.
