- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2023This movie covers the origin of the King's Men in relation to the hideous losses the English took in WW I. Has hints at how later events in the 20th century tied into this.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2022This is a great movie great actors great story
- Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2023The good news - this is a standalone adventure film, and so you don't need to have seen the original "Kingsman" films to understand what's going on.
The bad news - For fans of the original film, this may be a disappointment.
The King's Man has a good amount of action in it, but it doesn't have the tongue-in-cheek bombast of the first film. It takes itself way more seriously, especially in its depiction of the horrors of WWI.
I think this one will probably appeal to an older, and dare I say mature crowd.
If you're a fan of Ralph Fiennes, you'll probably enjoy this one all the more. I've been a longtime fan, and it always surprises me how he can convincingly play a snake in the grass, a hero, or someone in between.
Anyway, I enjoyed this film more than the very first one. Hope they'll do a 'prequel sequel'. :)

- Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2024Shrink wrap appeared to be re-purposed from another disc or (?) and hastily scotch taped at the bottom to 'seal' w 4K disc sliding round freely inside and found to have finger smudges and minor scratching. Hope it plays.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2022Great lead in to series
- Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2022You might of passed this film because is came out the same weekend as Spider-Man. This is a prequel to the King’s men and hopefully it continues. Set in 1902, young boy Conrad sees his mother die and father injured by a renegade. Years later as Conrad turns 17, between three people, kill Rasputin. A fast paced film far passing the third film, you must watch how the secret society came to be in London and latter in The EU.
