Product Description
CREEPSHOW, the new anthology series based on the 1982 horror comedy classic, is still the most fun you’ll ever have being scared! A comic book comes to life in a series of twelve vignettes over six episodes, exploring terrors from murder to the supernatural and unexplainable. Haunted dollhouses, werewolves, murderous goblins, villainous trick-or-treaters, the dead, and medical marvels are just a few of the things to watch out for in this new series. You never know what will be on the next page....

- Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2025Lots of fun watching Creepshow!
Best horror series I've seen in a long time.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2025I love this show if you're in the mood for something fun and dark to watch, but not in the mood to dedicate time for a movie.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2021As a long-time horror fan that is increasingly hard to please, this was a really good product. The stories were interesting, had good atmosphere, mystery, suspense, and pacing, and were unique stories, and had twists that I didn't predict or hadn't seen numerous times. Although I watched the season in its entirety, I still decided to buy them on DVD because I will want to watch them again, that's how good they are.
Now, onto two tangents:
Some other reviewers dump on the WWII story, but that was one of the best ones, it had great twists, very unique. And no, the soldiers weren't weak, or a bad representation of WWII soldiers. Remember that WWII soldiers were mostly drafted, they weren't guys that dreamed of being professional soldiers since they were kids. They were teachers, accountants, mechanics, janitors, construction workers, etc, that were suddenly called to duty. So yeah, they got scared of things, didn't want to be there, they weren't your soldier's soldier, but fought valiantly when they had to anyway, and there probably was a guy or two that deserted, so the episode is not at all unrealistic for that time. And the actors weren't millennial dweebs either (which I also don't like, but these guys aren't that), so I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. I had read the reviews about the episode before watching it, I looked for these things, and the other reviewers were so wrong, yeesh!
I didn't like the story with David Arquette, that was the weakest one as it was just a basic, soulless revenge story at its essence, but I'm also biased there because I don't like David Arquette, he's probably the worst prolific actor I've ever seen. He always looks like he's about ready to start laughing or break out crying for no reason, his face never seriously conveys the emotion of his character in a believable fashion, in no matter what role or scene I've seen him in (a goof, a sheriff, a 50's street guy, a soldier, you name it). It's probably not his fault, that's just how his face works, but it makes him a horrible actor. Probably a nice guy and everything, but man do I not like his work.
So in summary, it's mostly great and unique stories, judge the WWII one for yourself (don't go off other reviews alone), and David Arquette ruins the one he's in, though it probably wasn't otherwise good anyway.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2021Was excited to hear of a new Creepshow. Then that Marilyn Manson was in it. Then not. This series just a little off and doesn't do the original justice. Had to own it though :)
- Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2024I just love short stories like this. It's a great compilation of supernatural, horror, and suspense.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2020I'm a major horror anthology fan. It's a very underrated subgenre for some reason. It's always disappointed me that they don't make studio theatrical horror anthology flicks anymore. Even the fantastic Trick 'r Treat got screwed out of it's original theatrical run by Warner. Luckily they've brought it back with this excellent Creepshow series! I just got this great blu ray set for the first season (first time seeing the show) and I love it! It's such a blast. I pulled an all nighter and watched the entire season. It's really well done and keeps in the spirit of the original film. There wasn't one story I didn't like. Other than some complaints I've read regarding the actual Creep character himself in this series I'm really surprised by some of the negative responses to this series. It's just as great as the original film and definitely blows the terrible Creepshow 2 & 3 out of the water IMO! I really hope this series goes long and strong without having any mass audience influences that unfortunately curses so many TV series eventually. I highly recommend this season especially for horror fans! This is a superb blu ray set as well with great quality transfers and audio.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2023It’s a variety of stories well-made. You can see a lot of visual Easter eggs from the movies. There were a couple I really liked. But not gonna go into it because a friend of mine was with me when we watched it he enjoyed the ones I liked, but they didn’t catch us Idea of being as good as I get so it’s just depends on the person
- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2024Surprising quality in the cast as well as the effects. Original stories . Totally addictive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blu ray excelente

5.0 out of 5 stars Muy buena serie.
