All of the famous Universal Movie Monsters return to Blu-ray as part of the massive 'Universal Classic Monsters Complete 30-Film Collection' which includes all of the timeless monster movies from 1931's 'Dracula' forward. Each of the original films from the timeless and unforgettable Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolfman, The Mummy, Invisible Man, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, and The Phantom of the Opera, are included here on 24 Blu-ray discs. Also included is a 48-page book featuring writing on the classic monsters as well as actors and people behind the scenes that brought them to life. All of the legacy features from the previous collections are included here, giving fans hours of content to pour over once the movies are over. The six Blu-ray cases and the book are housed in a sturdy, embossed box.

All of the legacy features of the previous Blu-ray releases are brought forward here, which is great news for fans. Please click the links above to learn more about the specifics of those. The new addition to the set is a book entitled The Original House of Horror: Universal and a Monster Legacy. This 48-page text features writing on the classic monsters as well as actors Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, Elsa Lanchester, Lon Chaney Jr., and Claude Rains. The book also contains an excellent collection of stills, movie posters, and publicity shots. Finally, there are pages dedicated to director James Whale, makeup legend Jack Pierce, and special effects pioneer John Fulton.

Viewers will also enjoy spotting early performances from actors like Clint Eastwood, Vincent Price, and Peter Lorre, just to name a few. Equally as important and influential are the cutting-edge makeup and special effects work on display which served to inspire generations of filmmakers.
