The Love Trap (1929)

A bright-eyed dancer is fired from her chorus line job, cornered by a sly womanizer, and evicted from her apartment, all in a single day. In the depths of her despair, she is rescued by a handsome Prince Charming. Love and marriage follow, but their newlywed bliss is threatened when Paul's uncle recognizes Evelyn from a wild party he had attended. Unable to explain her innocence, Evelyn sets an elaborate trap for the old aristocrat, in hopes that she can expose his error in judgment
