Reviewed by Neil Lumbard September 14, 2023The Jackie Chan Collection Vol. 2 is an outstanding collection of films starring the great action star Jackie Chan. The second volume in the collection includes an assortment of films that showcase a different style from the first collection. The second volume has a greater emphasis on action-comedy with an emphasis on classics from the 80s and early 90s.
Fans of Jackie Chan will want to own the Jackie Chan Collection Vol. 2. The collection is a must-own Blu-ray release for fans of the actor. The set provides an excellent assortment of films. The Jackie Chan Collection Vol. 2 includes the following Jackie Chan films: Winners and Sinners, Wheels On Meals, The Protector, Twinkle, Twinkle Lucky Stars, Armour of God, Armour of God II: Operation Condor, Crime Story, and City Hunter.
Please Note: Even though the Lucky Stars films can be seen out of sequence, the second film in the Lucky Stars series is not included in the Shout Factory collection and is instead featured in a Criterion box-set of Jackie Chan films: Jackie Chan – Emergence of a Superstar. I do recommend picking up the Criterion box-set to add more gems from Jackie Chan to the collection.

The Jackie Chan Collection Vol. 2 is an essential collection of Jackie Chan films from the 80s and 90s. The box-set has an emphasis on action-comedies and includes some of Chan's biggest box-office hits, including Armour of God and Armour of God II: Operation Condor. The Jackie Chan Collection Vol. 2 includes some of the classic films from the Lucky Stars film series: Winners and Sinners and Twinkle, Twinkle Lucky Stars. A wonderful package and one that even includes some highly underrated gems like City Hunter. The box-set provides excellent presentations and a bevy of bonus features. Jackie Chan fans can consider this set a must-own collection. Highly recommended.
