Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is arguably one of the just flat out weirdest phenomena to ever erupt into the public consciousness, and for those jonesin' for a raucous "Cowabunga!", Arrow is offering the first three films in the series in two new collector's editions, one with 1080 discs and one with 4K UHD discs, with both offering Arrow's typically abundant supply of on disc supplements and "extracurricular" swag.

Arrow sent check discs for purposes of our 1080 reviews, and I am assuming that the 1080 packaging matches that of Arrow's 4K release.
This Limited Edition comes with a host of non disc extras. A slipcover encloses a slipbox which itself holds three keepcases as well as a perfect bound
collector's booklet in the style of a Roy's Pizza menu. All three keepcases feature reversible sleeves, and there are three different double sided foldout
posters, along with eight character trading cards and four character stickers.
My own sons were born a few years after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles craze had peaked, but kind of hilariously I had already been introduced to the franchise courtesy of my music direction life, when I was hired to accompany (and I'm not making this up) a senior theater who had built a whole play around grandparents getting caught up in the hysteria courtesy of their grandkids. In that regard, my particular nostalgia for these films may be considerably different than others', but one way or the other Arrow is providing fans with solid technical merits and some really appealing supplements. Recommended.
