Shaw Brothers Classics: Volume 1 is an essential box-set for action fans. Simply put: a must-own release. The collection has 11 martial arts gems. The release is going to be cherished by martial arts fans. One would have to channel a death grip on me to get me to ever part with this collection – a fantastic release. Shaw Brothers fans are in for a real treat and newcomers should dive in, too.
The Blu-ray release has impressive presentations of classic martial arts films and there's some nice extra content, too. The set is outstanding and the package design impresses as well. Shout Factory has hit a homerun. Please inject more Shaw Brothers into my veins, pronto. Highly recommended.
