Nobody 2-Movie Collection 4K Blu-ray Movie Review

Reviewed by Justin Dekker October 12, 2025

Bringing together both installments of the 'Nobody' franchise for the first time, the 'Nobody 2-Movie Collection 4K' arrives on 4k UHD disc in this new release courtesy of Universal. The films see Bob Odenkirk ('Better Call Saul') as Hutch Mansell, an "ordinary" man with a lethal skillset who is just trying to live a normal life as a suburban father and husband, even as events conspire to cause him to unleash his brand of carnage and mayhem. In both films, Odenkirk is joined by Christopher Lloyd ('Back to the Future') as his father, Connie Nielsen ('Exorcist: Believer') as his wife, and RZA ('The Man with the Iron Fists') as his brother. The discs boast solid technical merits and a modest assortment of bonus features. A spot-glossed and embossed slipcover and a Digital Code redeemable via Movies Anywhere are also included, but Blu-ray discs are not.

In a crowded field of action films, the Nobody films set themselves apart with a deft mix of quick bursts of comedy with protracted and frequent action scenes. The films follow a bit of a formula; both begin with an exhausted, battered, and bloody Hutch sitting in a dark interrogation room with an animal by his side. From there, the films go back in time, the adventures unfold, and ultimately, we wind up back with him in the interrogation room. Both films leverage some of the same story beats and jokes, and the action pieces escalate before each installment concludes with a climactic final battle that is laced with creative and funny booby traps and is punctuated with explosions.

Nobody 2-Movie Collection 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation  4.0 of 5

The Nobody films entertain as they stay within a certain format that is established in the first film. The second film maintains everything that worked in the first, while upping the ante in terms of setting, the number of villains, and the quirky and sizeable waterpark setting. Odenkirk's Hutch is a relatable action hero, and the supporting cast of Christopher Lloyd, RZA, and Connie Nielsen works to ground Hutch and support the action. Sharon Stone is a welcome addition to the second film, though her role and screentime are somewhat limited. For fans of the film looking to save a bit of shelf space and cash, the Nobody 2-Movie Collection 4K comes recommended.
