My Isekai Life is an action-packed adventure anime with a lot of adrenaline for action fans. My Isekai Life is also known by the full-length version title of My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World! and it’s aimed right at the action crowd. My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World! comes from original series creator Shinkoshoto.

My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World! features original animation production by Revoroot (I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, FLCL Alternative). The voice-cast for the anime includes Chiaki Kobayashi and Azumi Waki. A production featuring music by acclaimed studio Pony Canyon (Fairy Tail, Attack on Titan), so the tunes add to the production merit, too.  My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World! might not be a modern action classic but it does offer something for the genre crowd – for audiences looking for some adrenaline.

Released on Blu-ray by Sentai Filmworks, My Isekai Life is presented in 1080p MPEG-4 AVC encoded high-definition in the original television broadcast aspect ratio of 1.78:1 widescreen. The high-definition video encoding on the release is top-notch with excellent color reproduction, line art detail, and overall clarity. The presentation capably presents the action scenes with the solid encoding by Sentai. One of the strengths of the format is the superior encoding option compared to streaming video services, typically providing lower bit-rates compared to physical media.

The release includes a selection of lossless audio options: English DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 and Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 (with English subtitles). My Isekai Life features crisp and well encoded high-resolution audio. The lossless audio encoding provides a more robust and detailed audio soundstage.

Lossless audio enthusiasts will always prefer the Blu-ray disc format for their favorite film, television, and media due to the higher quality audio. Lossless audio is an essential of the format and a notable improvement over streaming options – streaming platforms for video only provide lossy (non-lossless) encoding. Blu-ray provides a superior option for audio performance.

The collector's edition release comes packaged in a gorgeous collectible steelbook. The premium steelbook packaging is a collector's dream come true. The steelbook packaging design adds to the collectability of the release.

The steelbook features a high-gloss print quality that is extraordinary – stunning in every sense of the word. The steelbook is luxurious and beautiful in every manner and is a wonder to hold in hand. The premium aspect of the manufacturing is notable. This is bar-none a top-notch steelbook - one of the highest quality available.

The artwork selected for the steelbook in fantastic and makes a wonderful impression. The artwork is significantly nicer compared to the standard-edition release of the series. The disc art is impressive and something to behold in hand.

The steelbook is a stunner with considerable heft and weight. Fans can hold it with white-gloves or without. The set provides a nice o- card slipcover, too.

The back of the slipcover features information regarding the release. The slipcover provides an extra layer of protection to the steelbook – helping ensure the steelbook arrives in the best condition. The steelbook itself is already extremely durable with the print-quality. However, it is nice that the slipcover adds to the quality of the steelbook protection.

The o-card slipcover also features a high-gloss booklet housed directly behind the steelbook inside of the sleeve. The booklet features 56 pages of material – covering a wide range. There is an extensive episode guide to all of the episodes featured in the box-set.

The episode guide includes some photos from the series, too. The episode guide provides written by, storyboarded by, and directed by credits for each episode in the collection. The booklet also features a character guide featuring colorful illustrations of the core cast of characters alongside brief descriptions and notes on the characters.

Included in the character section: Yuji, Dryad, Slime, and Proud Wolf. There is even a section about monsters and itemizations in the anime series – showcasing artwork of the different monsters in the series and highlighting the various customizations of weapons featured on the series. In the middle of the booklet, there is a full-color image across two pages.

The glossy booklet then provides a selection of new sketch short stories featuring Guess Tamers Come in All Sorts, Dreams of Becoming a Tamer, Proud Wolf the Brave, and Fit for a Priest. Each of these short sketch stories features a few pages of storytelling with sketch illustrations accompanying the stories. High quality art printed on high-gloss paper yields fantastic results.

Lastly, the booklet provides a staff credits section concerning key production staff such as composer, producers, creator, character designs, monster designs, production studio, animation production, director, and more. It is a nice way to conclude the booklet. The extra credit information may be considered handy for fans.
