The first box-set in the Golden Harvest collection line was entitled Golden Harvest Vol. 1: Supernatural Shockers and it focused on Hong Kong Category III adult cinema. The second box-set in the Golden Harvest line shifts gears to Golden Harvest Hong Kong action classics. The release includes the following Golden Harvest action films: Beach of the War Gods, When Taekwondo Strikes, The Skyhawk, The Shaolin Boxer, Slaughter in San Francisco, Legacy of Rage, The Master, and Hitman.

Golden Harvest Vol. 2: Shining Stars is an impressive collection of classic action cinema released by Golden Harvest. The box-set offers action fans a wonderful assortment of classic action films. The release is a nice overview of some of the gems of Golden Harvest. The Blu-ray release provides an assortment of nice presentations, lossless audio, and an enormous assortment of supplements. Recommended.
