There’s a new “Deathstalker” film coming in 2025, directed by the talented Steven Kostanski, who made B-movie magic with “Psycho Goreman” and “Frankie Freako.” Perhaps to celebrate the return of the character, Shout Factory brings 1983’s “Deathstalker” and 1987’s “Deathstalker II: Duel of the Titans” to UHD, offering new scans of the features to refresh their displays of fantasy heroism.

Deathstalker

A/V quality for "Deathstalker" and "Deathstalker II: Duel of the Titans" remains satisfactory while battling a few inherent and age-related issues, and Shout Factory didn't invest in new extras for the set. It's a release for fans looking to upgrade from their Blu-rays, and get reacquainted with the world of "Deathstalker" before it returns to screens.
