Darkman Trilogy Blu-ray Movie Review

Universal previously released 'Darkman' to Blu-ray in 2010 as a featureless disc. Shout! Factory released the film in 2014 with a substantial new collection of extras. The direct-to-video sequels ('Darkman II: The Return of Durant' and 'Darkman III: Die Darkman Die') were released by Shout! Factory in 2017 but are now being released by Universal and are exclusive to this set. The first film earns its own disc, which is simply a regurgitation of the 2010 release. The sequels share a single disc, drop the extras from the Shout! individual releases, but (essentially) feature the same video and audio presentations.

Universal's Blu-ray Darkman trilogy gets he job done on the cheap, but all three discs lack the supplements from the individual Shout! releases. If budget allows, pick those up instead. This set is a decent, and significantly cheaper, alternative for those who aren't concerned with extras.
