It's getting to be holiday gift giving time again, and that can only mean one thing for a certain class of home theater aficionados: over the top packaging that may make you think, "Well, maybe I do need a shot of eggnog, after all". Joking aside, fans of Kevin Smith may be kind of amused by Lionsgate's decision to bundle the three Clerks movies together in packaging that is fairly whimsical, offering a reproduction of the strip mall where much of the films take place. I've included seven photos of the packaging with this review, and I'll offer a bit more information below in the supplements section.

The discs offer no new supplements. The outer box measures approximately 16" wide by 7.5" high by 5 3/4" deep. The reproduction of the strip mall measures approximately 16" wide by around 5 3/4" in total wide, when combining the width of the "mall" with the "pavement" in front and the "video drop box" in the back. That video drop box opens outward as seen in the fifth photo I've included to offer up the DigiPack. Digital copies are also included.
Kevin Smith can be an acquired taste for some, but for those who have developed it, this might be a kind of bizarrely charming keepsake, though the outsized dimensions of the "strip mall" (not to mention the box it comes in) will necessitate some shelf space planning. For Smith fans in search of something a little, well, askew, if for no one else, Recommended.
