Back to the Future: The Ultimate Trilogy Blu-ray Movie Review

Universal has released all three films in the popular 'Back to the Future' franchise in one new Blu-ray collection. All three films have been remastered but include the same DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless soundtracks from the original 2010 set. This set includes all of the carryover content from that 2010 edition and the 2015 re-release and brings over a handful of new supplements as well. Note that Universal has also released the trilogy on the UHD format which offers superior picture and sound qualities.

Back to the Future: The Ultimate Trilogy Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation 

The new 1080p picture qualities offer solid improvements to clarity, film accuracy, sharpness, and color timing. Universal has simply ported over the existing 5.1 audio tracks. This set does include all of the legacy bonus features as well as several new extras. This is a solid set but the UHDs are greatly superior.
